TUESDAY REVIEWDAY: Jazzy Collection Single Eyeshadow Review

The year 2015 is all about the highlight, or rather, the strobing technique. I was not super hyped about the current trend, but I kept an open mind as I bought my first ever highlighter, even though the product is labelled as an eyeshadow. The highlighter that I use before was in a form of a pencil (for the eyes.)

I've heard about the Jazzy Collection eyeshadow from a friend who loves makeup as well. Once I became slightly free from school works, I got the said eyeshadow. I used it as a highlighter instead.
I bought the silver one since it's the first one I saw, and I did not know they have a gold one. Either way, the silver one works fine on me.
Let's just call this product a highlighter instead of an eyeshadow.

Packaging.
It is in a simple matte black rectangular case. I love how simple and elegant the package is. It also contains a mirror inside which is very convenient, but it does not contain any applicator, which is fine for me.

Closeup picture of the eyeshadow. The word "Jazzy" is actually imprinted or engraved on the product, but since I've used this for a few times, the engraving smudged away.

It looks very glowy and metallic, which is 100% better than glitter highlighters. This is the best highlight pigment I've seen.

Swiped on my arm once, twice, then thrice.
When flushed with water.
After rubbing it with wet hands.
It comes off when continuously rubbed with wet hands.

I'm pretty much impressed with its highlighting power. It's not like the typical powdery glittered eyeshadow / highlighter; it's shimmery and metallic.
To apply, use a light brush, like a fan brush. I used my flat foundation brush since it's faster and easier to blend. Apply it on the high points on your face, such as the tip of the nose, cheeks, cupids bow, forehead, and a little on the chin. Be careful, and don't apply too much. It's better to slowly build up the highlighter pigments (for beginners) if you don't want to accidentally apply too much.

Without highlighter.

With highlighter on my cheeks.

6 hours later.
Note: Flash is turned off when I took the photo.
It lasted until the end of the day. It really depends on how much oil my face will produce. The highlight on my nose and forehead area has the least product left.

Overall, I'm pretty much impressed with this product. So far, it's the best highlighter with the best pigment I've seen. I do wish that it lasted slightly longer.
Retailing at P149.00, I'd rate this 8/10.
It's available at all Jazzy Collection stall at department stores nationwide.
