Blackheads and whiteheads. Who wouldn't hate them? Aside from being unflattering and annoying, they cause pimples as well. That's why it's important to always wash and tone our face. Sadly, they're not enough.
The first iWhite product I bought was actually the nose pack whitehead or blackhead remover. I've already tried Watsons branded nose pore strips, but they were too harsh. I also tried a different brand of peeling creams, but it didn't really do much for me.
With that, let's see how well iWhite Korea Whitehead and Blackhead Remover will work.
Description:
iWhite Nose Pack is a cream type nose pack that conveniently adjusts to the shape of your nose, making it easier and more effective in eliminating blackheads and whiteheads. You can use it on oil-prone areas like the nose area and the T-zone to minimize the appearance of pores and excess oil for a clear, smooth, and radiant skin.
Contains natural active ingredients and Vitamins A, C, and E that help:
- Improve skin texture
- Soothe the skin while effectively stripping off dirt
- Tighten pores
Directions for Use: After washing face, apply a generous amount of Nose Pack Solution on the entire nose area. Wait about 15 minutes until it completely dries then peel off the pack upward, starting from the base.
For best results, use 2-4 times a week with other iWhite skincare products. Active ingredients: Mulberry Root Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, with Vitamins A, C, and E Also Contains: Water, Propylene Glycol, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Alcohol, PVP, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor oil, Titanium Dioxide, Fragrance, A, Camelia Sinesis Lead Extract, Panthenol, Retinyl Palmitate, Ascorbic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Oryza Sativa Bran Extract, Methylparaben, Disodium EDTA
The consistency is creamy and really thick. It smells like any typical iWhite products (faint floral scent.)
I left it like that and waited for it to dry. The instruction said to leave it for 10-15 minutes.
10-15 Minutes are enough. I can easily peel it off.
Now, to test it on my nose area.
I didn't bother to take a before and after photo since the camera's quality is not good enough to capture what I can personally see.
Here's what it looks like while waiting for it to dry.
I left it for 20 minutes since I applied a thicker layer.
20 minutes later, I slightly peeled it off on the left side. It has completely dried.
This is what the dried cream looks like after peeling it off. I can see a few whiteheads.
This is how I store the product. Since it's in a sachet, I put a tape on the open part only.
I tried this more for the next few weeks, and I noticed that it can only pick up the noticeable whiteheads (or blackheads) when they're on the top layer of your face. I do not have many blackheads, so I can't say that it can really remove blackheads and whiteheads.
I also noticed that I should use this every other week to fully see the effect of it. A thicker layer is also a must, but remember to allow a longer drying time.
I would rate this 7/10.
Somehow, it removed some, but it can't really remove all the whiteheads and blackheads, or maybe I don't have that much to remove. And I like how much good ingredients this contains.
It is available on all local supermarkets, Watsons, and department stores.
