I was rummaging through the makeup department in search for a cheap lipstick when I heard about the brand "Aido." I know there are plenty of affordable local branded lipsticks, but this one is specifically the cheapest.
Once I saw the Aido Regular Lipstick, they were right. It's the cheapest drugstore lipstick I ever saw. I was slightly reluctant to buy it, but since it's very cheap, I decided to go for it.
There's also the Aido Classic Lipstick which is a little more expensive, but still very affordable.
When I checked the stall, there is a wide variety of Aido Classic lipsticks to choose from. Their shades range from pinks, reds, to orange. I believe they have 12 shades. Also, their shade name is very uncreative, though. They have shades A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K and L. I have G and H.
The Aido Regular lipstick, however, only has nude shades, from peachy nudes to brown nudes.
I rummaged through the stall and was disappointed that they do not have testers. Also, the SA told me that they only restock random shades. Only a few shades were available at the mall when I checked. It’s also so hard to choose since they all look quite similar. I believe they have 15 shades, namely 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, until 15. Very simple for a cheap lipstick. I bought shade 11 and 6.

I also checked the ingredients. It's no different than the regular drugstore lipstick. I believe the reason why it's very cheap is because of the non-famous brand, no fancy scent, poor packaging, and lack of conceptual thought. This is the only lipstick I know that names the shades by letters or numbers.

The packaging is very simple. When I bought it, it did not come with a box. Just a clear plastic. What I hate about the packaging is the Classic Lipstick one does not entirely hide the lipstick when turned. Chances are if you're not careful, you might end up damaging the lipstick bullet.
The regular one, on the other hand, is too small, and the plastic seems unstable. Shade 11’s package is quite stiff while shade 6 is smoother.

The consistency is very creamy. The Aido Regular Lipstick is creamier than the Aido Classic Lipstick. Both have a faint lipstick scent which almost fades away when applied. The Classic one has a plastic-like scent while the Regular one has a scent of a cheap candy. Both lipsticks glide on smoothly, but the Regular lipstick is smoother.
The Aido Classic Lipstick is more matte, and less hydrating. The packaging states that it contains vitamin E, though.
Note: When I first swiped the Regular lipstick, it took me 5 swipes to get its current opacity. The surface of the new lipstick is too shiny, just rub it off for a few seconds, then you're good to go.
Shades:
I wore the Aido Classic Lipstick in H for the whole day. Since it has a different formula than the Regular one, I decided to wear it the next day. The Classic lipstick slightly emphasized the dryness on my lips. Though, I am quite sure my lips were not that dry.

| Blotted once. |
From a normal distance, my lips look fine. But when I inched closer to the mirror, I can see some dryness.
Note: I blotted because I prefer it to be more matte, even if the Classic Lipstick feels matte already. Also, blotting will limit the bleeding.

I retouched a little, but it's not very noticeable.

The next day, I wore the Aido Regular Lipstick in 11 the whole day. I also lightly blotted once since it's too creamy and will bleed easily if not blotted.

Overall, I find the Aido Classic Lipstick a bit drying. It emphasizes dryness and became dryer at the end of the day. It tempted me to lick my lips. However, the Aido Regular Lipstick is creamier and more moisturizing. I'm not a fan of its scent, but I like that the shade matches my preference and it stayed on my lips despite eating and drinking. I did not retouch as well.
I would rate the Classic Lipstick 2/10, and the Regular lipstick 7/10.
Aido Lipsticks are available at Fashion 21 stalls on local department stores nationwide. The Classic Lipstick retails at 59 pesos, and the Regular Lipstick retails at 25 pesos.
