Nude lipsticks are my favorite. Be it smokey or subtle, they always suit whatever makeup look I do. The problem is, there are plenty shades of nude. I am not sure which one will suit me. Inspire of having a fair skin tone, I still want to find that perfect nude shade.
Luckily, I have watched youtube tutorials by Michelle Dy and noticed a nude lipstick that she used. She also mentioned that it’s her favorite, if I’m not mistaken. Once I saw that lipstick at a stall, I immediately bought it (together with a Fashion 21 Concealer-Foundation, I will make a review of this soon.)
Fashion 21 is a drugstore brand, and I love how great their products are, considering the price.
Without further delay, here’s my take on the Fashion 21 Aqualicious Lipstick
It’s in a simple and elegant baby blue and gray box. The lipstick’s package is similar to the box’s shade of blue.
pic.I like how the package clicks when I close it. Although, the problem is the package is too stiff that quickly lead to a crack.

Consistency is creamy, like the typical lipstick. The finish is satin or semi-matte, which I like. You can blot this to make it really matte. It doesn't have any particular smell.

I wore it for the entire day to see how long it will last before it bleeds.

I ate a few snacks in between. The lipstick still looks good. I can sense slight smudging from the inner corner of my lips, though.

At this point, I retouched since we were going out. What I noticed is some dryness forming on my lower lip. The lipstick is slightly making it obvious, so I tried to remove some of the dry patches.

After eating lots of food, and puckering my lips many times, I can see that it slightly bled. My lip’s dryness became more noticeable as well.
Overall, I would rate this 6/10.
For its price, I like this lipstick. What I didn’t like is how it made the dryness on my lips more noticeable. Also, it lasted a long time. It’s better to remove the product, then reapply on your lips to avoid dryness.
It retails at 175 pesos. Available on Fashion 21 counter at Watsons or Department stores.
