TUESDAY REVIEWDAY: Revlon Photoready Airbrush Foundation Review

Foundations! For this episode of Tuesday Reviewday, I decided to review this foundation. Who wouldn't want a flawless complexion, especially during events or photo-shoots?

Foundations have been increasingly in demand today. I never really wore foundation at school since I am satisfied with BB creams. But, when I need a little more coverage for a photo-shoot or something, I would use a foundation.
I decided to give this foundation a try. I bought this since it's a different product than the typical liquid or cream foundation. Here's why.

Description:
Revlon Photoready Airbrush
Mousse Makeup
050 Medium beige
Exclusive air-whipped formula with photochromatic pigments that bend and reflect light.
Directions:  Shake well before use. Hold upright, gently press button to dispense makeup.

The interesting thing about this is it's a mousse foundation. The product is in a spray can. You have to shake it first then dispense foundation.

The foundation is very foamy at first. Then the air comes out. The consistency is very thin and somewhat liquid-creamy.

The shade is medium beige. I believe this is the lightest shade available at that time.

When applied.
I think the shade is only a bit darker on my skin tone. It has a weird scent. Others may find it disturbing, but it's fine to me. The scent only lasted for a few minutes. It's quite easy to blend which is a plus point for me.

Zoomed in photo.
BTW, it has a luminous finish.

After 6 hours.
After 6 hours, I can still see the foundation on my hand.

Since the skin on my hand and on my face differs greatly, I tested it on my face for 6 hours. I also documented it.

Bare face.
When applied on my skin.
This is what it looks like when I first applied it on my face. The camera can't really capture what I am seeing, but I can see that the foundation has covered my uneven skin tone and under eye darkness. It also covered my skin's redness.

6 hours later.
It's still there. Though my t-zone area is slightly oily, the foundation still stayed. I did not blot or retouch my makeup for the whole day as well.

Overall, I like this foundation. It's unique and the consistency made it easier to blend and feel lightweight. In addition to that, it's a must to set the makeup with a loose or pressed powder. If you have an oily skin, blotting is a must. Despite the oiliness, I believe the makeup will stay put and not fade that easily.

I would rate this 6.5/10. The luminous finish would be great for photoshoots, but it might not look great on a hot and humid day. I like that it blended well with my skin tone even if it looked a bit dark on me. It stayed on my face for the whole day, which is good, but I wish it was slightly cheaper.
This Revlon foundation is available in all Revlon counters at Watsons or Robinsons department store nationwide, retailing at around 700+ pesos.
