TUESDAY REVIEWDAY: Pinkies Collection Long Smooth Eye and Lip Pencil

I am slightly obsessed with lip products. Mainly lipsticks. I am not really choosy, so I gave this eye and lip pencil a chance since it appears very promising.

With a wide variety of choice, I didn't know what shade to get at first. The stall, however, has only a few shades left. At least, it made me easily choose the shades that I need.

I wanted something brown, something different, and something for everyday use. I bought 4 shades at that time: Atlantis, Jazzy Pink, Sweet Pink, Hollihood. I shall buy more shades next time they restock.

The packaging does not have any ingredients list. The product is in a form of a long wooden pencil with a cap. The pencil is basically just wrapped in a clear plastic when newly bought.

I like the packaging, however, I can smell the wooden scent of the pencil. It's like I'm literally using a 'sharpenable' staedtler pencil to draw on my lips.

The color on the end of the pencil is not very accurate, which is slightly disappointing.

The consistency is creamy and very smooth. Here are the swatches: 

Atlantis- Brown shade

Sweet Pink- Pinkish nude

Jazzy Pink- Light Coral Pink

Hollihood- Deep purple

7 hours later, this is what the swatch looks like.

The swatch on my hand also lasted for over 2 days. I tried to scrub it off, but it has already stained my arm. I already have a good feeling for this eye and lip pencil.

I mixed two shades to test its longevity. I used Hollihood and Atlantis, and this is the result.

5 hours later.

5 hours later, the product is still present. I took the photo after I ate. Like the usual, it's starting to fade on my inner lip, but it looks fine. The color slightly faded, but it's pretty much present. I have a bad habit of constantly licking my lip, so I'm amazed by how long-lasting it is. Also, my lip doesn't have that dry lip look like the Aido Classic Lipstick gave me.

12 hours later.

12 hours later, after eating, the product on my inner lip faded a bit more. The bad lighting made me appear to have no lipstick on, but I can see the product as I face the mirror. The product's color and opacity has toned down compared to when freshly applied. When I wiped off the product, I can see that it stained my lip but it's fine since it looks natural.

Overall, I still like it. It gave me a smooth and creamy matte finish without drying my lips. It has very minimal transfer, and has many shades available, depending on their stocks. It's also very cheap.

I'd rate it 8/10. It's worth every penny. The only downside is the creaminess which can lead to breakage when not sharped properly and the lead pencil scent which doesn't really bother me because it easily fades. Also, it can work as an eyeshadow base, but not as an eyeliner pencil.

I would give it a 10/10, but the color faded after a few hours.

Pinkies Collection Long Smooth Eye and Lip Pencil is available on all Pinkies Collection outlets at Watsons, and SM department store. (I'm not sure about Robinson's department store) It retails at 89 per pencil.
